The Myth of Buildeus Essay Buildeus was born when a rogue flash of lightening from the god Zeus struck a sapling and turned it into a real boy. Zeus needed a new craftsman for his lighting because it just wasnt good enough so Zeus gave Buildeus powers to create many a things from toys to airplanes. The only problem with Buildeus was that he was made of wood so fire was his worst enemy, even a small spark can light his body instantly. Buildeus was raised by a blind couple that lived in the woods. At age seven he had built 100s of different tools for the couple to use, things like a pocket knifes, hammers, and anything he could get his wooden hands on, and did chores such as rebuilding the house, cooking, cleaning, amazingly everything he did was perfect. When Buildeus was 15 years old, the couple decided an education was the smartest choice for Buildeus so they traveled by foot for 11 miles and upon finding the first school of Lake Ozwego joined and enrolled. Buildeus being different, was treated very badly by the other students, he was called freak, ugly, and was often brought near lighters for the fun of the other students. The worst of them all was the evil janitaur which lived in boiler room, the janitaur constantly disrespected Buildeus, forcing the poor boy to clean up messes he didnt make and create evil things for him. Janitaur also hurt and punished many of the other students and was hated by all. The only way for the students to calm him was offering 7 students every year into detention. Principal Minos did not care, for he was an evil conservative bent on an only human school. The only thing keeping Buildeus alive was his love for Betsy Crocker the only girl carpenter in the school which treated him like a normal person. Within the boiler room, which spewed fire like the underworld Hades, the wrestling took place. The heat was almost too much for Buildeus, but he fought on. The janitaur tried to defeat him but Buildeus 2.0 was to strong and defeated the evil janitaur. After his defeat the janitaur screamed out Youll never get out of my labyrinth of pipes, bwahahaha and fainted but Buildeus shirt had a loose string that caught onto the door handle and slowly found his way out. Now confident in himself, other people realized his change and effort to help the new school and stopped making fun of him and started becoming friends. The other students realized that its whats on the inside that counts, and that he destroyed the Janitaur. Buildeus worked effortlessly on this school; as long as sun was in the sky Buildeus worked. Slowly it seemed, the supplies were running low, on the final day of its creation, they needed just a plank more of wood and all the funds were gone so Buildeus reverted to his natural state and sacrificed himself in order to save the school. Though Buildeus may not have been immortal while living, Buildeus was immortal to the eyes of the students of the school and is now a part of the school as to this day.

According to Hilder (2004), nearly 30% of women US veterans from Vietnam War experienced sexual encounters ââ¬Å"accompanied by force of by threat of force.â⬠These made the Vietnam War a repugnant event that made those who committed these vicious crimes unforgivable to them. The atrocities that they experienced in the war were in themselves, traumatic. However being discriminated and abused by their fellow military personnel intensify these emotional scars to a point that these have been transformed into hatred. Time can allay and completely heal the fear that one has, the traumas was brought up by the cruelty of their enemies; yet deep-seated animosity and hatred due to these sexually related misdeeds that they received from some men cannot be healed without forgiveness. Forgiving others eases up pent-up anger and hatred. It is actually a "response to an injustice or a moral wrong (What is Forgiveness)." In war injuries comes from a wide array of causes that eventually result into a diversity of effects. It can lead to serious damage such as grave and even lasting psychological, emotional, and spiritual defects. Unlike the psychological and emotional harm inflicted on them during the war which they voluntarily submit themselves into; what exacerbates the malady of the female Vietnam War veterans is the fact that they suffered a harsher and more contemptible experience from their male comrades who discriminated them. Psychological, emotional and spiritual injuries that they received from the Viet Cong can be healed by psychotherapeutic means. But without forgiving the sexual misdemeanors of their male company, the toxic effects of hatred will continue to retard their healing process. Forgiveness, especially when done methodically and scientifically will unclog the animosity inside her and free her from the harsh effects of hatred. Drs. The Line Between Feudalism and Capitalism We consider America to be a capitalist nation, but what exactly makes it capitalist? Websterââ¬â¢s dictionary defines capitalism as an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, especially as contrasted to cooperatively or state owned wealth. Capitalism affects the people in it on a daily basis; it affects the way they live their daily lives. A break down in this, supposedly perfect, economic system may occur resulting in a case of feudalism. This can still be found today even, in America. Feudalism is defined in Websterââ¬â¢s dictionary as a system of political organizations prevailing in Europe from the 9th to 15th centuries having as its basis the relation of lord to vassal with all land held in fee and as chief characteristics homage, the service of tenants under arms and in court, ward ship, and forfeiture. There are define d social differences and similarities between capitalism and feudalism; these differences can be seen when comparing and contrasting the reality-based movies Norma Rae and Matewan. There are many similarities between Norma Rae and Matewan making it hard at times to see which economic system is feudalism and which is capitalism. These similarities cause confusion, even today, in deciding what can be considered feudalism and what can be considered capitalism. This is because in both systems the employers have a significant amount of control over their employees' lives. Both movies are about employees in large factory situations trying to better their working conditions by unionizing the company. Neither the Stone Mountain Coal Company, in Matewan nor the O.P. Henley Textile Mill, in Norma Rae seemed to truly care about the welfare of their employees. For example, in Matewan the coal miners were suffering from the coal dust cutting their lungs. This problem could have been easily alleviated, had the company cared, by providing the employees with masks. Another major problem was the premature explosions in the mine, which were also caused by coal dust and often resulted in death. This problem would have been more difficult to remedy, but it could have been done. The company just didn't care enough about the lives of its workers to spend the money necessary to correct the problem.

Humans vs. Animals on Life and Death
The Death of the Moth by Virginia Woolf described how a life of a moth could be so fragile that like humans and other animals do, the moth also struggled to fight death. She compared how the moth lived its life compared to humans and other animals as well. That even if the moth seems nothing and worthless, its resistance to death is evident. In other words, the significance of death is not only limited to human beings. Animals may not think like humans do, but they are also living and gives effort to live life to the fullest. Animals may not live life like us human beings, but like us, they also have a purpose in living.I believe that all human beings are artists because their lives are creative productions. The basic materials of each personââ¬â¢s artistry are many and varied, for they depend on each personââ¬â¢s uniqueness. Oneââ¬â¢s basic materials, however, not only include the elements of life, nit also those of death with all its various ramifications, as books, articl es, symposia and discussions open peopleââ¬â¢s context of death awareness, the question must be asked how much an awareness can help human beings create beautiful lives. This brings us to this question, is the moth aware of its upcoming death. Life and death to all living things is apparent.How long would it take is unknown. When the body dies, there is nothing that remains that can survive. This is a belief that prevents any solution to existential vicissitudes being projected to another life. It asks of each human being the courage to face lifeââ¬â¢s problems in the here and now, the courage to supply necessary answers and remedies. Happiness is oneââ¬â¢s own making not in any heaven ââ¬Å"above the bright blue skyâ⬠(to use the words of an old hymn for children). Only God knows the answer to the problems of innocent suffering and that rewards are in heaven for those who tow the party line are seen as an evasion of facing life itself.We must then, I should say, enjo y and value our lives the happiest as we can make it. As Woolfââ¬â¢s story went on, when she sees the moth is turned on its back, she reaches out a pencil to turn it over again, but then she lays the pencil down. This is the realization that even if we try helping other people to fight for life, they already made their own battle against it so we just have to leave it as it is. Woolf obviously tackled the resemblance between the mothââ¬â¢s struggles and the human condition in facing life. We may see it different at large, but with the little and worthless mothââ¬â¢s death, it was very perceptible.
